President Vanessa rang the bell to start the meeting, but the singing was a disaster. Unfortunately, Carolyn Stiver accidentally muted Chuck Snipes. Carolyn apologized profusely, but the singing did not get better. This was one time the whole club might have sounded better. 😊.
Vanessa tried to introduce visiting Rotarians, but there were none. Vanessa then introduced Frances McChesney (a guest of Rose Cholewinski and John Youmans).
Vanessa then told a story about the Elf on the Shelf at her house. She has two in her house and apparently the elves have been misbehaving in the bathroom. I hope Vanessa gets this under control, or there could be real trouble. 😊
Vanessa then talked about a new Campaign called "Stay Healthy Yolo" to help Yolo County get out of the Purple Tier. Kristen Shepard— Announced be sure and get your Christmas Elf Gifts to Gretchen’s doorstep. She also said a Hearty THANK YOU.
After Announcements, the Sergeants took over to Restore order. Sergeant Gretchen did a very good job!
David Murphy gave Happy Bucks for his daughter getting a job. Then Gretchen fined him for being a Stanford Grad--something about the Stanford-Cal game.
Gretchen then fined Meghan Likes for being married to Jeff Likes 😊.
Rose gave Happy Bucks for swim schools being declared an essential business by the state.
Clay B. gave Happy bucks for some video on YouTube
Finally, Gretchen re-established order by fining Justina Vega and Tim Deleiden ( of Recology) for getting a Garbage Company declared an Essential Business.
Things then got serious after the Sergeant sat down.
Karen Gardias and the Madrigals took over.
