Celebrating 30 Years of Giving – A Backgrounder on the Thompson Valley Rotary Club

Chartered in April 1989, the Thompson Valley Rotary Club is celebrating its 30th year in Loveland.

The club’s motto is “The Club with Heart.” One of the club’s main fundraising efforts (in cooperation with the City of Loveland and the Thompson Valley High School’s Honor Society) is to paint personalized Valentine’s Day messages on wooden hearts which are displayed on light poles around Loveland during the month of February. The club also hosts the annual Miss Valentine selection event.

Thompson Valley Rotary Club has also supported the artists of Colorado for 28 years via the Governor’s Art Show. The 2019 show and sale will be held May 4 through June 2 at the Loveland Museum. Local art students are also featured at the show and receive art scholarships from the club.
