Community Service Donation Guide Lines

• All requests must be submitted in writing and initially reviewed by the Community Service committee, who will then present to the Rotary Board for approval. • It is desired before we give to any organization or cause that they give a presentation to membership if they have not done so before. • Preferably we will only give to organizations that are within our service area defined as Westfield, Mayville, Ripley, Brocton and Sherman. • There must be sufficient funds available in the Community Service budget to fulfill requests. • Requests must be seen to benefit the community we serve. • Matching fund raising efforts by the organization will be looked on more favorably. • Recipients must be not for profit organizations. • No single request that has not been given its own line item in the Community Service budget shall exceed more than 20% of the Community Projects line item budgeted amount.
