Announcements:
Vernon asked for support of Jay’s “Go Fund Me” campaign with proceeds going 100% to our club.  Jay has already raised more than $3,600 of his $5,000 goal.  Jay will be running in the New York City Marathon in November.
The Club will be supporting Ridgewood’s Social Service Administration with a food drive outside of the Ridgewood Stop and Shop on Saturday July 30, 2016.  Barbara S prepared a list for shoppers that they can use while in the store to purchase the items that are most needed.  We expected to be supported by the Interact Club in this project.
Thank you Letters:
The Club received thank you letters from The Social Service Association of Ridgewood and International Humanitarian Aid Foundation, Inc.  Both organizations received financial support from the club last fiscal year.

Guest Speaker:
Our guest speaker this week was former Secret Service Agent Greg Dickey.  Mr. Dickey shared his experiences while working the White House detail while under President Reagan-including his presence at John Hinckley’s assassination attempt and protecting President Nixon while living in Saddle river.  His presentation was very engaging and seemed to captivate all present.  He has since retired from the Secret Service and as a school administrator.  He is currently an Interim School Principal in Franklin lakes.
50/50 winner:  Vernon Reed (That’s right at his first meeting as president, he did not pull the ticket!)

Four Way Test Leader: Greg Tarris

Meeting adjourned: 8:38
