Monthly Business Meeting - Vernon
  • Neal - Volunteers required on Thursday September 16 to help build playground for special needs children. Signup sheet circulating.
  • No breakfast meetings on November 24 (Thanksgiving) and December 29. There will be a meeting on December 22
  • Jay – Budget in good shape, $22K unallocated, receivables are up-to-date. Marathon fund-raising approaching $6,000.
  • Steve C – Humanitarian dinner for 2017 at planning stage, looking for nominees.

  • Rob – need push on calendar ads
  • Ed Silver – speakers lined up into January 2017. Also ordering dictionaries.
  • Elise – Gong show reminder
  • John – membership target is 50 people
  • Vote on ‘revised method of electing members’ – approved
  • Volunteers needed for October 16 Paramus run
  • Vernon/Dan – discussion around a Czech student who wants to attend Ridgewood High School and looking for sponsorship. Issues around liability, visa, etc makes this a complicated endeavor
