TODAY'S SPEAKER

This Meeting's Speaker: George Waitts

Crown Roll Leaf was incorporated in 1972 and originally produced the metallic coating used in the hot stamping process. Its products were used to create a shiny, embossed effect on greeting cards, book covers and packaging, such as labels and folders.

By 1984, founder Robert Waitts saw an opportunity to manufacture materials for holograms and diffractive images. By investing in the equipment and consulting with holographers around the world, Waitts began to develop processes to produce rainbow metallics that reflect light like a prism.

Special Guest - our GOL Sponsoree and his Mother
Oswen and his mother Wendy attended our meeting. He is our Gift of Life sponsoree from Honduras.  Oswen is on the mend with help from Dr. Grau and the folks at Valley Hospital.  We think he will be staying in American for another 2 to 3 weeks as he navigates PT and OT.

Special thanks to Karen Fischer who has hosted Oswen and her mother from the beginning up to post surgery and Rotarian John Koch for offering his Gift of LIfe room for the family to stay as Karen welcomes a new grandson into her family!

Rotarians in our Thoughts:

We are thinking for all of our members, family and friends who are suffering an illness or other adversities especially Pat Scialla, Tony Pecci and Gloria Counsellor. We are reminded to think about our brothers and sisters in Ukraine.
