TODAY'S SPEAKER
This Meeting's Speaker: Jack Cittarelli
Our guest speaker today is Jack Cittarelli, former gubernatorial candidate in New Jersey.
Jack said he was honored to be here with Rotarians.
Jack spoke on leadership. A good leader in his opinion, is anyone who does the right thing. He told the story of a young Marine, John Basalone. John was the first Medal of Honor awardee. John saved an entire battalion on Guadalcanal. He later died on Iwo Jima.
Jack tells us that the American dream and way of life is not easy, but it is attainable for all if we work for it.
Jack was asked if he planned to run for governor again and he said that he is planning to run in 2024.
He then opened the floor for questions.
A very interesting discussion!
Thank you to our program chair Vincent Iannaccone for another interesting program!

“The clock of life is wound but once, and no man has the power to tell just when the hands will stop, at late or early hour.
Now is the only time you own, so live, love and toil with a will.
Place no faith in time, for the clock may soon be still.” anonymous
We are thinking for all of our members, family and friends who are suffering an illness or other adversities especially Pat Scialla, Tony Pecci and Gloria Counsellor. We are reminded to think about our brothers and sisters in Ukraine.
We are asked to keep Past President Joseph Hessler’s family in our thoughts. Joe passed away this week and will be sorely missed. He was an honorary member and has always been a staunch supporter of our club.
