Dear Fellow Rotarians
The Gong Show Off Broadway has been running for 3 1/2 years in NYC to sell out crowds. Unlike the original TV show - this is not an amateur talent contest. (with all due respect to the groundbreaking TV show). This show is a professional, cast, choreographed, semi scripted and carefully produced show. Its the same cast every time, just like any Broadway or off Broadway show. The show has received rave reviews. It's very funny. I've attached a poster and a photo of the full cast. They are a Sony Pictures Television authorized production.
The Ciccone theater is a gorgeous theater in Paramus at Bergen Community Collage. Parking is not a problem. It's a Broadway sized stage with 300 seats. Every seat has a great view. The production will be there 2 nights, Sept 16 and 17th.
Tickets are $39 for the show. 35% or $14 of every ticket sold through the club goes back to the sponsoring Club for your fundraiser. There are FIVE sponsoring Rotary Clubs! You pick the Club you would like to support for this event and use that code when you make your purchase! In addition- they do a pre-show event on stage with three audience members. One of those who come to the stage would be from our group. While they participate in the on-stage activity (it's fun and painless) with the actor who plays our show 'host', our host will mention your Rotary Club and the cause for which you are raising money and say a few nice words about it. The Club can, if you wish- also set up a table for donations in the lobby so that random folks who are at the show (not through your efforts, just ticket buyers) can be made aware and donate to your cause as well.
The show is PG, its okay for families, kids 10 and up.
So lets make this a real Rotary event and sell out the place! Information is on the attached flyer with a link to purchase your tickets. I've got mine! Hurry! Seating is limited!
They will assign you seats when you register, but you can de-select their assignment and make your own seat selection.
