Table Talk: Sue Terrill (left) recently attended a Milford Rotary Club meeting to update members on how the Milford Sunday Community Supper held at the Unitarian Universalist Church has been trying to address the increasing “hunger needs” of the Milford Community.

Terrill, who has been intensely involved in the program for quite some time, shared her first-hand experiences as well as the logistics and economic challenges the Church faces in preparing and serving the Sunday evening supper. Susan shared her deep and emotional passion for working with those attending the Community Suppers as well as what volunteers do to make the supper an evening of “family dining’ and socialization for both the volunteers and diners.

Pictured with Terrill, a member of the First Congregational Church Milford, is Rev. Eric Quinney-Burnard former pastor of the First Congregational Church of Milford who will be leaving the church on November 1st to accept a call to a church in NY State.  Burnard was very instrumental in getting the FCCM involved with the Community Supper on the 4th Sunday of the month and along with other church members helped served attendees. Next to Burnard is Rotarian Jane Schroeder, a FCCM Member also and Program Coordinator for the Milford Rotary Club
