On the way to the Benjamin Moore outing today, 10 Rotarians stopped by the Youth Center today for a photo op of the new electronic scoreboard that the club purchased for the Center.
Director, Jim Sanchioni told the group that the " new score board was a much needed item and will allow the Center to expand activities". Jim noted that "the Center has become the focal point for many children in Milford who depend on the Center to provide them with the necessary activities and events to help them develop physically, mentally, socially and emotionally through their childhood years". For a majority of the kids, the Center is a very important part of their life. The new scoreboard certainly ties in well with all the other good things happening at the Center. Everyone at the Center seemed real excited about the scoreboard. It should make basketball a lot more interesting and is the Club's signature community project for the 2010-2011 Rotary year.
