Rotarians Help Serve Community Supper at Trinity Church

Nine members of the Milford Rotary Club volunteered last night at the Milford Trinity Church on Congress Street to help serve dinner. Rotary volunteers including Club President Dennis LaPlante, his wife Heather and their son Gregg, Kathy and Tom Sawyer, Steve Ellis, Al and Marilyn Holman and Stephen Chaplin. The volunteers worked in the kitchen washing dishes, as well as serving the food in the dining area. About 55 meals were served over the three hours. The outreach program was part of the Club's effort to reach out to the hungry. The hot meals were cooked by Churches chef's David and Henry assisted by other church volunteers. Meals are served at the church on the last Wednesday, Thursday and Friday of each month.
