Program chair Jane Schroeder came up with the idea to contact member Travis Romano to ask if Rotary could do a community service project by writing cards for residents at the assisted living facility at Blaire House and Travis was more willing to work with Jane to make magic happen. So Santa’s Elf, AKA Jane, arrived at Rotary today with a supply of beautiful greeting cards.

Each Rotarian wrote a general (but still personal) Rotary holiday message to a resident and then the cards were passed around so each card could contain an individual  signature from all Rotarians present at the meeting. Great idea and follow through by Jane and great that Travis could help us pull the plan together and oversee the final distribution. See - there really is magic in the air during the holiday season!
