Happy Special Ed and Special Olympic Champions......

Jen Walsh (right) and Deb Friedman (left) were the program guest today of President Josh and spoke to the club about the Pre-Vocational program in the Milford Public Schools to meet the needs of students whose cognitive abilities range from moderately to severely impaired and require a subsantially separate classroom. There are currently 9 students in the program. Students can remain in the program until the age of 22. Transition to other organizations, such as Alternatives in Whitinsville, begins at age 14 and is reinforced all along the development process. Jen is also involved in the Special Olympics.
