Exchange Student Jenny Trapp Settles In Quickly
Jenny Trapp is this year's Rotary ESSEX Exchange Student. Jenny comes to Milford from Wesel, Germany, a town of 60,000 people, which is in the northwest part of Germany along the Rhine River and about 30 kilometers from Holland. Jenny has three brothers - one older and two younger - and is looking forward to having sisters here during her stay with families in Milford. Among Jenny's school studies in Germany are four languages - Latin, French, Dutch, and English - as well as her native German. She enjoys sports of all kinds and has been playing girls' field hockey - a new Sport for her- at Milford High this fall. She also enjoys music and loves to sing as well as play the flute and piano. She participates in a scouting group affiliated with her church in Germany and has enjoyed meeting with Girl Scouts in Milford. She has come to the US to improve her English and to understand how we live. Milford Rotary is happy to welcome Jenny to the US and to Milford.
