Chief O'Loughlin Delivers Positive Message

Is the meeting still going? A special to thanks to Chief O'Loughlin, who once again proved why his annually visit to Rotary is always one of our better meetings of the year. His straight forward, common sense approach to today's toughest issues is always refreshing to hear. He commented on many issues and seems to be able to strike balance between doing the right thing and knowing when to strictly enforce the many, and sometimes burdensome, laws that are on our books today.

He seems to have a good grasp on dealing with the large immigrant population in Milford, and reminded us all that most of these immigrants are just here trying to make life better for their kids and themselves, and are law abiding citizens. This is especially important since The Milford Police do not have the authority to handle immigration issues, and can only deal with the laws are on the books in Milford. Photo by Huck- Text by Tony.
