Pedals 4 Progress shared that they have received confirmation that one of our oldest active partners, FIDESMA in Guatemala. They fully unpacked their shipment of 470 bikes and 15 sewing machines, marking P4P's 22nd shipment to Guatemala.
FIDESMA is a social development organization in Guatemala that has their hand in a long list of activities. To name a few, their organization is dedicated to supporting children with disabilities, remote education programs, environmental awareness initiatives, and women’s rights activism. FIDESMA operates a bicycle repair shop where they sell and distribute bikes donated by people of the United States through P4P and funnel profits directly into their other outreach programs.
