On Tuesday April 16th Club President Pat LaRocco and Member Todd N. Malkin presented to John Cosgrove, President and the members of the Rotary Club of Fair Lawn - Sunrise, a check in the amount of $250 for a community wide fundraiser for a local family in need. #avanforbrandon has been the rallying cry as our fellow Sunrise Rotarians took the lead and brought together so many individuals, businesses, and other civic organizations in Fair Lawn together to assist the Higgins family in meeting the needs for their son Brandon. Brandon was a typical boy that went to school, rode his skateboard, and hung out with friends. Life took a turn when Brandon was diagnosed with brain cancer. The Fair Lawn community has been coming together to raise funds to help the Higgins family defray the costs of an accessible van that is so desperately needed to assist Brandon.
