You are interested in Joining The Rotary Club of Fair Lawn, now what??

Taking the step to become a Rotarian is a commitment to lend a hand to those in need around the corner and across the globe.  Current Rotarians are looking forward to sharing Rotary ideals with you and to listen to your ideas on how we, as Rotarians, can help those in our community and further Rotary’s goals locally, nationally and globally.

The Rotary Club of Fair Lawn meets weekly, each Thursday for lunch, a program and camaraderie.  We hope to have you present at each meeting, but as business professionals it is understood that you may not be able to make each and every meeting due to work and/or family commitments.  Don’t let the inability to make each and every meeting deter you from joining Rotary as a way to give back to the community.  We are seeking members that will bring energy, vitality and leadership to our Club.  Just because you can’t be at a meeting doesn’t mean that you are not participating as a Rotarian.  You can “make-up” Club meetings anywhere in the world.  We had a member that had perfect attendance for 60 years by making up meetings wherever he was travelling in the world – a different city, another country, even on a cruise ship!  Members have made up meetings in Montreal, Canada, St. Louis, MO and Wurzburg, Germany to name a few locales.

Meetings are only a part of being a Rotarian, we look for people that will be active as the Club holds many events throughout the year and we feel that it is important that you attend these events and lend your ideas and enthusiasm to them – whether they are fundraisers, community projects, club board meetings, social gatherings or other events the Club participates.  Attending these events count as “meeting make-ups”.

Being a part of Rotary is a commitment, but one that is well worth it as we work together to improve the global community, starting right here at home!
