Michael Baer, a twenty year practicing attorney from Fair Lawn with his office in Lyndhurst joined The Fair Lawn Rotary Club in 2009 at the behest of Fair Lawn Rotarian Stu Herrmann.  Michael saw joining Rotary as a way to give back to the community and network with other like-minded individuals.  Since becoming a Rotarian, Michael has been very involved with our Third Grade Dictionary Distribution project and is our FLHS Interact Club Liaison.  In speaking with Michael, you can hear his excitement in working with children of all ages and guiding them to become the best they can be.  Michael also enjoys our annual pancake breakfast fundraiser and the tricky tray and beefsteak event.  When asked what position he has within the Club, his answer was usually left side of table near the flag; this is typical of his sense of humor.

Outside of Rotary, Michael enjoys scuba diving, travel, golfing and biking.  He is also a big fan of Jimmy Buffett - take a look at some of his shirts – and the music of the 70’s and 80’s.  He does his work on a PC, but for some reason is still checking e-mails and texts on a Blackberry.
