The Rotary Club of Fair Lawn has been active in our Fair Lawn community since 1948. You’ve seen our signs announcing the time, date and location of our weekly meetings; you’ve seen the Rotary logo all over town – the new clock in front of the library, the old bulletin board in front of the high school; on the “adopt a park” sign at Beaver Dam Park; and inlaid in pavers are Memorial Park as well as other places locally, regionally and internationally.

So who are these men and women that volunteer their time to serve those in our community? Who are these people that travel around the world to fight polio and drive across town to help their neighbors in need? Well, our new feature will introduce Fair Lawn Rotarians each month.

Well, our second installment of this series is Club Secretary Stephanie Codey who hails from New Providence, NJ.  Her State Farm Agency located at 12-45 River Road is what brings her into our fair town each and every day.  Since joining the Rotary Club of Fair Lawn in 2008, after being asked by our man around town Charles Wrubel, she does more than sell insurance and related products in Fair Lawn.  Stephanie found that Rotary was a great way to give back to the local and global community and also found it a great way to meet other business leaders and residents of Fair Lawn.

You will find Stephanie (and her husband) behind the grill during our annual Pancake Breakfast fundraiser. Some of her other favorite FL Rotary activities include our annual Holiday Party for the Opportunity Center and our weekly Thursday meetings at Caputo’s Catering at the Fair Lawn Athletic Club.

Outside of Rotary, Stephanie enjoys cooking, gardening and spending time with family and friends. She is an Apple convert, using her Mac and iPhone as well as her iPod; which by the way is filled with audio books. Also, don’t send it snail mail; e-mail all of your insurance questions to her for a prompt response!!
