Rotary is a great way to give back to the community where you live or work. Our local efforts have helped students continue their education, improve our community aesthetics, and bring different groups together for the benefit of all. What we do locally also has an impact in less developed countries; we help bring clean water and proper sanitation to remote areas, provide transportation and education opportunities, and eradicate polio. Rotary is where neighbors, friends, and problem-solvers share ideas, join leaders, and take action to create lasting change.
As we work together as Rotarians, the bond of friendship grows; fellow Rotarians have been there to see our children grow, to welcome the birth of grandchildren, and to celebrate many milestones in each of our lives. Rotarians are a fun social group; we have many socials where our families come together. Rotary is serious fun – we enjoy each other’s company as we identify and tackle needs as we work together to support our local and global communities.
