The Rotary Club of Fair Lawn recently held its annual used bike collection for Pedals for Progress.  P4P is an international organization that takes old repairable bicycles and sends them to emerging countries.  These bikes are used to teach a trade and create microbusiness opportunities to stimulate the economy of areas around the world.  These repaired bikes are then but to good use, providing mobility allowing people to ride further to find work or attend school so they can improve their lives and the lives of their families.

The Rotary Club of Fair Lawn collected 19 used bicycles this year.  If you have used bicycles, think about donating them instead of having them fill up precious space in our landfills.  Contact a member of The Rotary Club of Fair Lawn to find out how you can donate your used bicycles.

Used bikes can be put to use to help others improve their lives.
