Your involvement in this year’s Strike It Rich Cash for the Holidays Big 50/50 Raffle allows us to further the charitable work of Rotary locally and around the world.
Locally, Rotary supports our children, emergency service providers and the community in general.
- Dictionaries to all 3rd Graders throughout
- Donation to the Maurice Pine Library’s Children’s Summer Reading Program
- Scholarships to Fair Lawn High School Students continuing their education
- Donation of a new Rotary Clock in front of the library
- Creation of Rotary Grove @ Memorial Park
- Support of
- Creation of the Hooray for Helmets Safety Awareness Program
- Distribution of Child Care Identification Kits
- Donated training programs & other equipment to the FL Volunteer Ambulance Corp., Volunteer Fire Dept. & the FL Police Dept.
Globally, The Rotary Club of Fair Lawn supports several Rotary International projects & programs.
- Pedals for Progress. Collecting used bicycles for distribution to the poor so they have mobility to attend school and/or find a job
- The Gift of Life. Providing life saving surgery to those in need.
- Polio Plus. Fighting to eradicate polio around the world.
- Shelter Boxes. Emergency shelter to those affected by natural disasters
- Various Water & Sanitation projects. Providing education & facilities for better health around the world.
