On Sunday May 7, 2023 from 11AM to 3 PM at the Fair Lawn High School, 14-00 Berdan Avenue, Fair Lawn Rotarians and Fair Lawn High School Interact Club members will be working together once again in holding our Henry Peneno Pedals for Progress Used Bicycle & Sewing Machine Collection day. If you may recall, this event has been named in honor of a Fair Lawn Rotarian whom was instrumental in creating the partnership we have with Pedals for Progress.

We will also be conducting a Food Drive to Benefit Local Food Pantries. Food insecurity continues to be a problem for struggling families and Rotarians and Interact Members are working to assist as many families as possible to working with the pantries in restocking their shelves.

It is important for the community to come together, and Fair Lawn Rotarians appreciate your assistance as we work together to Lend a Hand to Those in Need Around the Corner and Across the Globe.

Pedals For Progress, a 501(c)(3) registered charity, has been helping others in developing countries around the world.  P4P collects over 3,000 bikes annually; to date over 155,000 bikes & 4,200 Sewing Machines have been shipped to help grow local economies, provide needed transportation, develop important educational skills and much more.
