More About Rotary

Rotary is found around the world, it is one of the largest and oldest humanitarian service organizations in existence.  It has a voice in the United Nations, it is leading the drive to eradicate polio from our world and Rotarians are found everywhere providing "Service Above Self" in every corner of the globe.

 

The Fair Lawn Rotary Club is one of many active Rotary Clubs.  Information about our Club can be found not only on this website, but on Facebook where we share items of interest and importance from the perspective of our local Club.  As an international organization, there is so much going on in the Rotary world.  Information about Rotary can be found in a variety of places; Rotary International is on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and in traditional print.

 

The Rotary Club of Fair Lawn has donated an annual subscription to Rotary's monthly magazine, the rotarian, to the Maurice Pine library right here in town.  You can always peruse current and past issues of this informative magazine.  This month's issue (May 2016) highlights Rotarian Garvin Evans, whom happens to be the father of U2's The Edge.  Both men discussed how music and service runs in the family.  the rotarian is always full of interesting articles that show Rotary's reach in helping others around the world and what it means to each and every Rotarian on a personal level.  The May issue also highlights the The Rotary Club of Jersey City and a recent philanthropic action day they held.
