On March 3, 2011, The Rotary Club of Fair Lawn will be hosting a “Volunteering in Fair Lawn information night at the Fair Lawn Community Center” starting at 7:30 PM. There is no charge to attend this community event. Rotarians are volunteers, as are members of the Lions Club, Knights of Columbus, Fair Lawn Garden Committee, Fair Lawn League of Women Voters and all of Fair Lawn’s Emergency Service organizations as well as the many other groups that work to improve the lives of those that reside, work and visit Fair Lawn.
“Volunteering in Fair Lawn information night at the Fair Lawn Community Center” is about learning about the many venues offered to those that are seeking to give back to our community. Each organization will have information about their mission statement, membership requirements, time commitments and how they help our community.
Members of the public are urges to attend this free community event to see how they can give back to our community and become part of one of the many organizations that make Fair Lawn the great place it is to live, work and visit.
