Hooray for Helmets

Fair Lawn Rotary’s Hooray for Helmets Bike Safety Awareness Campaign continued on Sunday August 7th with a Free Helmet Give-Away Day at Gaelic Football and Cricket Multi-Purpose Field (Fair Lawn section of Saddle River County Park).  Fair Lawn Rotarians were in the park providing free helmets to young and old needing helmets while enjoying this beautiful Bergen County Park Bike Path.  

 

Bicycle safety is a priority of the Fair Lawn Rotary Club and we were proud to enhance our program; this helmet give-away is in conjunction with our partnership with the Fair Lawn and Glen Rock police departments in the free ice cream coupon program where coupons for free ice cream are given to youth bike riders properly wearing this important safety gear.
