2016 - Off and Running!

Wow, 2015 has left the building and 2016 has Fair Lawn Rotarians moving full steam ahead!

 

This January find Fair Lawn Rotarians getting ready to host the 5th Annual 4th Grade Spelling Bee Championships.  30 students from each Fair Lawn Elementary school will be participating in this event showcasing their spelling skills.  The winner will bring pride to their school and will have the ability to move up to the next level of Bee competition.

 

Our Club members are also working hard on our Big 50/50 Cash Raffle Fundraiser.  The Raffle drawing will be held on February 11th, just in time to win some cash for Valentine's Day!!!  So, take a chance to win some money and help Fair Lawn Rotarians continue their efforts to Lend a Hand to Those in Need Around the Corner and Across the Globe!  See a member of our Club for a ticket or e-mail us at fairlawnrotarians@gmail.com and we will get a ticket out to you.

 

And that's not it for January; Fair Lawn Rotarians are also prepping some great tricky tray prizes for our Annual Beefsteak & Tricky Tray Fundraiser scheduled for Saturday February 27th.  Once again, we invite everyone down to St. Leon Armenian Church located at 12-61 Saddle River Rd., Fair Lawn for a fun night of beefsteak and chances to win some great exciting prizes!  Tickets remain at $45/person for beefsteak, dessert, soft drinks, beer and wine.  Tricky Tray Prize tickets are sold at the door at various prices for various prize levels.

 

Please note that this is an advance ticket sales event.  We will also offer vegetarian, kosher and chicken meals - these options must be ordered when purchasing your tickets.

 

Our Club is also working on some new and exciting philanthropic activities that will be announced in the future.  All in all, 2016 finds Rotary in Fair Lawn off to a very active and vibrant start to the New Year.  Come down to one of our Club Meetings and get to know members of Fair Lawn Rotary and find out how you can become part of this exciting organization!
