Saddle River Mayor Visits our Club

Pictured above with Club Pesident Marcello Gloria, Saddle River Mayor Sam Raia visited the Bergen Highlands/Ramsey Rotary Club this week.  He began his talk by highlighting the importance of the Rotary Four-Way Test (below) and how relevant it is in his approach to business as well as in his personal life.  He stressed his priority of running the town of Saddle River as "lean" as possible, to the benefit of the towns residents.  He spoke proudly of the efforts of "Homes Fit for Heroes".  http://www.homesfitforheroes.net/

One of our Senior Rotarians, Jack Levin, pictured below with the Mayor, commented that many years ago he used to land airplanes in Saddle River!  The Mayor thanked Jack for not doing that anymore.

At the conclusion of the meeting Mayor Raia was made an Honorary Member of our Rotary Club.
