Relief Arrives from Vermont
Two truckloads of donated items collected by Rotary Clubs in Vermont arrived at the Paramus warehouse this week. Rotarian's from throughout the District jumped into action to unload and sort the packed trucks. John and Sean Royle, and Tom Grissom from our Club pitched in. Tomorrow, Saturday, a convoy of sorts will be put together to bring the donated items to where they are needed. Volunteer's are needed. Click on "More" below to see how you can help. New picture's have been added to the "Sandy Warehouse" section of the Photo Album.

Disaster Relief Committee Announcement #8
We need drivers! Can you drive less than 2 hours to a designated drop-off with a SUV, Van or Pick-up on this Saturday morning? If so will pack you up at 9:00! Come to 799 Route 17 South in Paramus.
We need help sorting and loading? Please come to the warehouse/Sorting Center at 799 Route 17 South in Paramus at 9:00 on this Saturday morning.
For the fourth time in less than 2 weeks we have filled our warehouses! We are now diverting deliveries to Eatontown, New Jersey and Rockaway, New York. After Saturday we will no longer receive any deliveries to the Paramus warehouses.
We continue to need cash donations and gift cards for stores such as Lowe's, Home Depot, Walmart and Target, so that displaced residents can buy food, supplies, etc. to rebuild. Please send donations to the Rotary District 7490 Walter D. Head Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization, c/o Calisto Bertin, Bertin Engineering, 66 Glen Avenue, Glen Rock, NJ 07452, USA.
Soon, under the direction of Ridgewood AM Rotarian Jay Fowler, we will start a second phase of disaster relief and support with hands-on rebuilding projects. More information is to follow.
Thank you for your concern, donations and support.
Peter Wells, Disaster Relief Chair for District 7490
