Bergen Highlands Ramsey Rotary Club and Ramsey Staples gives its Generous Support of the Center for Food Action "Back to School Drive", Program for local area School Children
The Rotary Club of Bergen Highlands Ramsey, serves the five towns of Allendale, Mahwah, Ramsey, Upper Saddle River and Saddle River, is pleased to announce that the Rotary Club has continued its generous support of the club’s Back to School program to benefit Local school children who are at risk of not having Backpack and supplies. The Rotary Club, in partnership with the Center for Food Action, is providing school supplies for school children who qualify. The Rotary Club is funding the effort, the Center for Food Action distributes as needed to its locations in Mahwah and Ringwood. The Club began distributing Backpacks and supplies in February 2010 and will continued the program in 2013. The generous support from Rotary along with additional fund raising efforts will enable Rotary to continue this program in September and provide much needed supplies throughout the 2012-2013 school years.
Each pack contains notebooks, pens, pencils, holder, Post notes and a Dictionary suitable for grades 3-6, kid-friendly, and easy to use supplies.
The Back Packs where picked at Staples in Ramsey by Rotarian Tom Grissom and delivered to the Club's weekly luncheon for hand off to the CFA Manager, Jim James..
