Aida Castro, Thank you for the leadership this past Rotary Year !!
The Mid-Bergen Rotary Club extends heartfelt gratitude for Aida's dedicated service as president over the past two years. Her leadership guided the club through successful initiatives and continued to embody "Service Above Self".
Under Aida's guidance, the club continued its work, including providing medical services to children with congenital heart defects (Gift of Life), aiding in disaster relief (DAUSA), supporting local families with maternity packages through the Baby Bundle program, and engaging in environmental projects. The Baby Bundle program's impact increased due to her commitment, which helped secure district funding. Support for students continued through the RYLA leadership program.
Aida's commitment to service extends beyond the Mid-Bergen Rotary Club, as demonstrated by her involvement with the Rotary District #7490 leadership team as the District Treasurer and her prior involvement in the Wood-Ridge Fire Department's Women's Auxiliary.
The club deeply appreciates her passion and leadership, which have significantly impacted the club and the community.
