Dear members of the Port Lincoln Rotary Club, I hope you are well? I am writing to you to seek your permission to undertake an interview on a research project we are conducting on sharks and aquaculture.
If you are able and willing to be interviewed, please reply via email – or ring/text me on 0437 738 635.

Specifically we are interested in understanding what (i) your perceptions are of aquaculture/what you know about it, (ii) what your perception/knowledge is about sharks, (iii) perception/knowledge is about the impact of aquaculture on shark presence and iv) what types of communications/ sources of information you use. This round of interviews is the second phase in this project – last year we conducted a range of interviews with people in surf clubs, local government, coastal groups and aquaculture e- people who are likely to have opinions about or may be affected by the potential of new aquaculture developments going in. However we are now trying to gauge community perception in a wider range of interests hence contacting you, as a resident of a coastal area, any and all opinions are of interest, even if you feel you do not know much about the actual topic! If you are able and willing to be interviewed, please reply via email – or ring/text me on 0437 738 635. Both myself and another researcher – Bride, will be in contact. I hope to hear from you!
