CLUB ADMINISTRATION COMMITTEE MINUTES.

Club Administration Committee Meeting on 10/1 /17 at Ravendale.
Present: Bob Sorenson, Pat Callaghan, Mike Munro, Colin West, John Myers.
Puckridge Park:
Moved : Bob Sorenson , 2nd Colin W that a delegation be formed to meet with council regarding the upgrading of the park pagoda area to a safer more user friendly area, and also review the ongoing maintenance of the park. President Mike, Ian Phillips, Jim Kay, and Ron Carey suggested as delegation to meet with council. Rotary to investigate grants to support upgrade.
Teakle Auto Sprint:
Bob S moved 2nd Pat C that Rotary take up the option of BBQ breakfast and lunch in assembly area cooking Snags, minute steaks, hamburgers and onions. Run food stall for 2 days and ask Youthoria for assistance if needed.
It was suggested we contact Linda Davies at Community House to see if we may get some work for the dole assistance to help at Puckridge Park, and to ask Jo Clarke and WCCYS to help out at Tunarama and the Teakle auto Sprint if required.
Art Prize:
We need to notify the persons concerned that we were very disappointed with the manner in which it was handled last year, we would like to meet with Vivienne Sarret to discuss before making a decision . Rotary needs some recognition for any prize money donated.
Fellowship Officers:
We should consider a group of people as fellowship officers whose duty it is to welcome Rotarians but especially visitors and guest speakers to the club and introduce them to members especially the President. It would also be appropriate to offer to buy them a drink which would be reimbursed by the club if required. 5 or 6 persons would all that would be required.
We discussed weekly meetings and we generally agreed to keep them the same.
Pat C is as usual doing an excellent job with the programming of meetings.
