Hi Everyone,

If you are not among the 230 people who have already registered for the 2015 District Conference, this is your last opportunity to register before the Early Bird registration closes.

We have extended the Early Bird deadline to Friday 14 November, so you have just two weeks to complete your booking!!
Come and enjoy excellent speakers, meet up with old friends and make new friends while breathing "Fresh Eyre" at the 2015 Rotary Conference in Port Lincoln.

The 2015 District Conference will be held in Port Lincoln from Thursday 26 to Sunday 29 March 2015.

Since our last update, we have finalised our speakers for the Conference, and you can now see their details on the website.

Our fine speaker list is headed by passionate business motivator Keith Abraham and London bombing survivor Gill Hicks . Both have great stories to tell. We also have Doris Zagdanski, an expert on grief counselling, and Mel Irons, whose Facebook pages had such a profound impact on those involved in the 2013 Tasmanian bushfires.

Local identity Stephen Kemp will tell us the story of Port Lincoln, while local business owner Emma Forster, former Youth Exchange student, will tell us about her life journey so far.

Deakin University's Associate Professor Felice Jacka will speak about her "You are what you eat: how diet affects mental well-being" research. Former Senator the Hon. Kay Patterson will talk on behalf of Interplast and we will listen to Bruce Allen, Chair of the Rotary Foundation in Australia.

Malcolm Lindquist will give us an update on membership issues and we will be treated to a panel session with a group of enthusiastic Rotaractors.

Five of our Super Early Birders won vouchers for various “Swim with the …” activities, and we will be having a second round of prizes to be shared amongst all those who have registered by the close of the Early Bird registrations on 14 November. So register now to be in the draw!!

Don't forget to book your Club members into one of the Friday night dinners. You can view menus and prices on the website by clicking here.

There are still a few places left for the spectacular Saturday afternoon cruise aboard the MFV Tacoma, Port Lincoln's original tuna fishing boat. Space is limited and tickets can only be booked by those who register. If you have already registered, please go to the booking page and choose "Ordering Additional Items" to add to your original booking.

There are a few rooms left at the Port Lincoln Hotel, just a few short minutes walk from the Nautilus Theatre. Make sure you book here or at other places as soon as you can, as space in Port Lincoln is filling up for that weekend.

Registration is easy. Just access the Conference Website at www.rotary9500in2015.com.au and select the link "Click here to reserve your spot" to take you to the registration page at MyBookingManager.

The Conference has the following Cancellation Policy:
·         Cancellation by 31 January 2015: Full refund less 10% administration cost.
·         Cancellation by 23 February 2015: 50% refund.
Cancellation after 23 February 2015: No refund.

With your attendance at the Conference, we will “Light Up Lincoln”!
