WATER WELL SUCCESS

In August three adventurous Olean Rotary Club members Carl Vahl, Mary
Vahl and Dennis Casey, along with Allegany-Limestone Interactor Briana
Casey and 6 others traveled to Niger in Western Africa to inspect 8
wells that had been completed and watch one well being drilled.
The trip was a big success and Carl, Mary Dennis and Briana were asked to present on the project at the District 7090 Conference in Buffalo on October 17, 2009. Over 300 conference goers watched the 17 minute multi-media program and several Rotary Clubs have pledged to donate money for new wells in 2010.
