"Have you ever wanted to be a part of a Rotary project that was really something big? A project that made an immediate impact in your local area..right now?? Well then, mark your calendar and make sure you are registered to attend the District Conference 2016. Saturday afternoon, October 22, 2016, Rotarians will be working side by side, to package 50,000 meals in our first ever “hands on project” at a District Conference. This is an opportunity for you to have fun and fellowship while “doing good in the world”. Your Club can take advantage of this amazing opportunity at the District Conference by making a donation to this worthwhile event. In exchange, you will receive the equivalent meal packages which can then be given to a local food bank or church pantry in your own hometown! The cost of one meal is $.25. A $500 donation would get you 2000 meals!! This is an excellent opportunity to expose new members to the work that Rotary does. It’s also a great way to engage as a club, on a project with an immediate impact!"
