Iran - now and then

Iran, formerly known as Persia, is the second largest country in the Middle East and with its population approaching 80 million, the 17th most populous in the world.  It is home to one of the world's oldest civilisations.  Our club member John Wotherspoon recently visited this perhaps misunderstood country and will give us an illustrated perspective on what he learnt about its history, its people's current way of life, and more.
