Stories
President's Pen
This Thursday, 26 March, we will be meeting at the Kent Town Hotel from 6pm. Our guest speaker will be Simon Millcock, Holistic Local Development Officer, Cambodia “Spoons” Empowering Women project.

On 27-29 March, Alison and Paul will be attending the Multi-District Impact Summit being held in Horsham. Safe travelling, and we hope you have petrol supplies for your return.

For our next formal Club meeting on Thursday 9 April at the South Terrace Croquet Club – and future meetings - it has been suggested that some members may wish to adopt a “Covid-19” response to steadily climbing petrol and diesel prices by having some meetings open via Zoom. Those who wish to come to the meeting may do so, but for others, they may wish to opt in to either a Board Meeting or Club Meeting via Zoom.

If our Club members wish it, our hard-working Richard Jarrett will set up two Zoom meetings per month (2nd & 4th Thursdays) if anyone is interested – until the crisis is past. Your thoughts on the matter would be appreciated, please let me know your preferences via president@adelaidelight.com.au or give me a call.

Best wishes and have a great week. Yvette, President.

The Four Way Test

The Four Way Test

Of the things we think, say or do:

  1. Is it the Truth?
  2. Is it Fair to all concerned?
  3. Will it build Goodwill and better Friendships?
  4. Will it be Beneficial to all concerned?

Affirmation

United in the spirit of Service we value truth, fairness and friendship; and we welcome the opportunity that Rotary gives us to contribute our talents and resources in support of others.

Rotary Club of Adelaide Light Mission Statement

To have fun and engage interest from new members and friends as we use our strengths for a better world here and abroad - a welcoming, flexible group having fun doing hands-on activities for positive impact.
