Our second guest was Pasang Sherpa originally from Nepal and is currently nursing as well as studying law. Pasang was obviously impressed .as she has expressed great interest in joining our club.

Most of you would know that our member, Paige, was attempting to run 100 miles(160 km) this weekend to raise money for the Afghan Girls Education Project. The good news is that she smashed her fundraising target of $5000, however very wet feet, very bad blisters and infected toe nails contributed to Paige having to withdraw at the 80 km mark. I am sure that you will join me in congratulating Paige on running such an amazing distance, when a normal marathon distance is 42kms and all for such an amazing cause.
This coming Thursday morning, 17th July some of will be meeting for our regular Coffee Catch-up at the White Picket Cafe in Dulwich, from 9.30am and everyone is welcome to join us.
