It’s at this time of year we, as members, decide whether to put our hat in the ring and take on a position in the Club at our annual Changeover in June/July 2026. If you have an interest in becoming President or taking on another role such as Treasurer or a Directorship or Co-Directorship, then please let either myself or our Secretary Di know of your interest. In changing the leadership of our Club, we thrive with new ideas, new enthusiasm and different points of view. We look forward to discussing your interest in taking on a Club role. If more than one person seeks a certain position, our Club votes either in December or early in the New Year at a Club Assembly. Di and I will let you know when the Club Assembly will be held.
See you this Thursday at the Kent Town at 6pm. Please order as usual at the Front Bar, but this week we’ll be meeting in the bigger upstairs Boardroom. We’ll hear an update from Director John Wotherspoon about Timor, and if there’s time, I can show a presentation of photos of the trip that Elaine and I just experienced (if not enough time, then I’ll present on a later date).
Best wishes and have a great week. Yvette, President.
