At last Thursday’s breakfast, we were able to have a quick snapshot of Kirsti, Rob, John and Yvette’s overseas trips. There are a multitude of beautiful places, wonderfully different cultures and helpful people on this earth and we saw and met just a few of them!
Lovely that Erfan has returned from his speaking engagement in Malaysia, and we’ll have to hear about what he presented at the Conference and what insights he made listening to the other young speakers. I look forward to learning more about his time there.
This coming Thursday is Coffee Catch-up at the White Picket, and we have a 6pm Board Meeting on Thursday evening. See you then.
There is an upcoming Cuppa Conversation scheduled for Saturday, 30 August.  Lili will be letting us all know the venue shortly.

A man had been crossing a street when a car slammed into him.
 
The pedestrian sued the motorist, whose lawyer made the following statement at the end of the trial. “Your honor, my client was not at fault. He has been driving a car for thirty years, and has never had an accident, nor gotten so much as a speeding ticket. I do not think I need to say any more.”
 
Unimpressed, the lawyer for the plaintiff rose. “Your honor, since counsel insists on bringing up the matter of experience, may I remind the court that my client has been walking for over seventy years.
