Last week’s breakfast may not have had a speaker, but conversation flowed easily around the table including an update on our Timor Leste project (the two water tanks are currently being cast in concrete), the great news of Lili finding another part-time job to help her pay for her many hours of studies, and general updates on what members were undertaking in their lives and for Rotary.
 
 
 
After our breakfast, our Alison stayed for our Board Meeting of Directors (and all new members should be aware that all Board Meetings are open for members to attend). After each Board meeting, our hardworking Secretary Di sends out the Minutes of Meeting to each member so that you can catch up on the workings of the Club and the status of our community, international, youth and other service projects.
 
We have a few people on the sick list this week. Don has been in hospital for the past week and we hope he can return home soon. Di has come down with the dreaded lurgy which has been circulating throughout the community and has affected many people, and others are still recovering from various flus, colds and viruses. We hope you all make a speedy recovery.
 
This coming Thursday is Coffee Catchup at the White Picket Café from 9.30am. See you there.
