Christmas holidays and celebrations everywhere are the reason we need to move Thursday night’s dinner venue! All the nearby pubs including The Kent Town Hotel are fully booked. So, this Thursday (28 Nov) we’ll be meeting and having a guest speaker, Sammy, at Taste of Nepal, 300 The Parade, Norwood at the usual meeting time of 6.00pm for a 6.15pm start.
Specialising in curries, seafood and clay-oven specialities, this promises to be a mouth-watering treat of the senses. Nepalese food is delicious. Vegan, fish, meat options available on their al a carte menu. At the same time, provide an acceptance/decline for you and your family/friends for our Christmas Croquet Challenge event this coming Saturday 30 November 2024. Play some matches with/against the Rotaractors to try to win back our Silver Teapot Trophy from the Rotaract Club of Adelaide City – and then enjoy a wonderfully casual pizza/salad selection and conversation to celebrate the festive season.
The Christmas event will be held at the South Terrace Croquet Club from 5.30pm to around 8.30pm. Cost of play and food is $30 per person. Buy your own drinks at the bar. It is unusual though. Study it, and think about it, but you still may not find anything odd. But if you work at it a bit, you might find out.
