President's Pen
Last week’s Coffee Conversation at the White Picket Café had fewer members attending than usual but great conversation abounded. This week is also at White Picket Café, so we’ll see you there if you’re available. It gets busy around this time of year!

RSVPs are coming in thick and fast, thanks. If you haven’t already RSVP’d, please let me know if you’ll be attending our Club’s Changeover dinner to be held in the Barton Room in the Caledonian Hotel, O’Connell Street, North Adelaide on Friday 21 June, 6.30pm for a 7.00pm start. Vegetarian and Gluten-free options available. Again, this year, there is a Starter Plate to share on your table; and you can choose from the $40 meal option or the $54 meal option. Dessert and coffee/tea/wine can be ordered separately at the bar.

Please let Yvette know if you will be attending with your partner, family or friends – or if you will be an apology - on ymr@live.com.au before Thursday 13 June so that I can provide numbers to the Hotel.

See you at this week’s meeting at White Picket Café from 9.30am.

Best wishes and have a great week. Yvette, President.
McLaren Vale Grenache sales
There's still 10 dozen of this excellent wine, which slips down beautifully when chilled during summer.

Only $150.00 per case ($12.50/bottle) or $75 for six.

Grab this great deal and help fund our local and overseas Rotary work.
Things like: building water supplies in Timor, helping Afghans flee the Taliban.

Contact Rob or John by email or phone to order.

The Four Way Test

The Four Way Test

Of the things we think, say or do:

  1. Is it the Truth?
  2. Is it Fair to all concerned?
  3. Will it build Goodwill and better Friendships?
  4. Will it be Beneficial to all concerned?

Affirmation

United in the spirit of Service we value truth, fairness and friendship; and we welcome the opportunity that Rotary gives us to contribute our talents and resources in support of others.

Rotary Club of Adelaide Light Mission Statement

To have fun and engage interest from new members and friends as we use our strengths for a better world here and abroad - a welcoming, flexible group having fun doing hands-on activities for positive impact.

Jokes Corner
A man and his wife are sitting in the living room.

He says to her "Just so you know, I never want to live in a vegetative state dependent on some machine. If that ever happens, just pull the plug."

His wife gets up and unplugs the TV.
