Paige and Rob attended the Club Leaders Learning Seminar last Sunday and Rob presented as part of the Public Image Workshop the section on Mainstream Media - concentrating on Media Releases and being interviewed on radio or TV. Paige was able to attend an excellent workshop on Membership.

Help us celebrate our Rotary Club’s 40th anniversary and bring some friends to our Robert (Rabbie) Burns dinner on Wednesday June 10 in a social event replacing our normal Club dinner for June. Born in 1759 with the Battle of Culloden still fresh in Scottish minds, Rabbie Burns (as affectionately known) became Scotland’s best loved bard and is now deemed its national poet. Burns nights are commonly held on Rabbie's birthday (25 January) but as our Australian summer is decidedly unScottish, June is more suitable for Antipodeans to make merry in Burns' rascally poetic style.
Our Scottish themed dinner at the Edinburgh Hotel on Wednesday 10 June offers toasts, bagpipes, highland dancing and merriment. We’ll have our own Scottish piper and dine on a Haggis entrée with your choice of winter main course for only $70 each. Drinks are available from the bar and we hope you’ll dress a little Scottish. Add a tartan scarf... or arrange to borrow one of Rosemary’s many kilts at the Royal Scottish Country Dancing Society (ask me about this).

The Foundation’s goal is a specialist McGrath Breast Care Nurse to all Australian families experiencing breast cancer (1 in 7 women).
