Upon opening my mail this week (after my five week European sojourn), I was happy to open two Certificates sent by District Governor Rajeev Kamineni congratulating our Club for its financial support of “End Polio Now: Countdown to History Campaign”, and recognition that our Club is a Level 1 Donor to The Rotary Foundation (which means our annual contribution exceeded US$100 per member). Our Club’s contribution to the Annual Fund will have a lasting impact, both internationally and here in District 9510 in regard to Global Grants, District Grants, Polio Eradication and Future Leaders programs.
Last Thursday we had a great meeting of fellowship and information flow, prior to our Board Meeting. The Minutes of Meeting will be forwarded by our Secretary Di Lane soon to each member: take the time to scan the document to catch up on the existing programs that we are supporting such as the current Timor Leste Water Project construction work, as well as new initiatives in Community Services that were approved by the Board members at the meeting.
See you this Thursday for Coffee Catchup from 9.30am.
Best wishes and have a great week. Yvette, President.
