Last call for participants in our combined Rotaract tree planting day on Sunday August 16th at Tim Jarvis' Carrickalinga (Myponga) property from 10am.
They plant in all weather conditions, rain, hail or shine but Sunday could be reasonable weather. You'd need to bring whatever you can rustle up from the following:
- Strong shoes (gumboots may be suitable in some conditions)
- Suitable clothing for warm or wet (long pants recommended)
- Gloves
- Sunscreen and hat/beanie.
- Bucket
- Mallett, a small trowel and mattock (optional)
- Stanley knife or similar for cutting tubes
- A drink and food/snacks FOOD WILL NOT BE PROVIDED
- Chair and drinking cup
The following will be provided for us:
- Safety Glasses
- Gloves (if required)
- Tools (Mattocks and Hamilton tree planters)
