Successful Quiz Night

The Quiz Night supported by the Rotaract Club of Adelaide City and our Rotary Club was a very successful event on Friday 12 June. With an attendance just under 200 people on the night, MC Rob McLennan and Quiz Master John Wotherspoon put in a great effort with interesting music and a wide range of questions. Our thanks also to Dean Sullivan for organising the venue, and helpers Deborah Wotherspoon, Pam Sullivan and Kirsti Kankkunen. The Rotoractors excelled themselves by attracting 15 tables of gamesters and the Rotarians fielded another seven tables.

 

With profits of around $2000 to apportion between the two Clubs, the funds will be directed to help the Nepali people following the devastation of the February earthquakes and subsequent after shocks that have flattened towns and cities, wrecked roadways, caused innumerable rockslides into agricultural land, and made homeless thousands of people.
