The new RAH - have we got what we needed?

We have got what the last (megalomaniacal) Rann Government wanted but did we need it?   Certainly the faithful old RAH has served South Australia well, but like all hospitals of its vintage it is time expired.   But, questions need to be asked....Did we need a large general hospital in the CBD?......Did we need to pay $11.9 billion for a populist luxury hotel-like hospital that is inadequate in many clinical functions?........What are the dual effects of the nRAH and the now discredited Transforming Health 'reforms' on the State's hospital system?
